Don't just sit there. Do something.
It's too much. Too much pain, too much heartache, too much sickness. It's time to stop it.
Team SKI is a group of water skiers and snow skiers who have had enough. We're tired of brain tumors, breast cancer, leukemia, MS, you name it. We're done. It's time to get up, get out and go fight. These diseases have affected too many people for too long. We're going to do something about it.
These are just a few of the faces, our friends, who have battled or are battling disease right now:
Team SKI's first priority: support those around us who are afflicted. We'll help to raise money, cook dinner, hang out and talk. Whatever is needed, we're doing it. Our second priority: create awareness in our community about the seriousness of these diseases and to facilitate opportunities to raise money for finding cures.
We're one group, one family, united in this battle against disease. So don't just sit there. Get out and do something.
Happenings
Friends of Stan & Jan Vasily held the First Annual Dive for Life and raised over $2000 for the American Brain Tumor Association. WAY TO GO!
Smilin' Phil Yastrow is at it again! He's not only doing another MS150 bike ride, he's running in the Boston Marathon! Phil's goal is to raise over $100,000 for MS and he's well on his way with combined donations of just over $70,000. What have you been doing lately?? Check out Phil's Facebook fan page for more details.
We've lost two of our close friends recently, Wayne Canfield and Casie Cobb. Please continue to pray for their families during this difficult time.
